7/1/2021 Update:

Washington State has lifted its COVID restrictions!

While it's surreal that the pandemic has waned here in the Pacific Northwest and things are returning to a new normal, it is still a global issue, so for that reason we are still asking unvaccinated visitors to wear a mask when in our store.

Our Seattle store is open 7 days a week, with the following hours:

Monday - Friday: 11am - 7pm
Saturday: 11am - 6pm
Sunday: 11am - 5pm

Our two Seattle production facilities are as busy as ever to craft up the gear you need for this summer and beyond.

Adventure responsibly!

6/9/2020 Update:

Our Seattle factory is humming once again! We are excited to get back to crafting sleeping bags, apparel, and bedding.

With a shutdown of nearly three months, we do anticipate of a bit of a backlog as we get up to speed. Orders may take a few extra days to complete.  Washes are taking about 2-3 weeks.  Repairs have a sizable backlog and may take up to 8 weeks

Our Seattle store will also be opening once again starting June 15th. Hours will be limited to 11am to 5pm. Curbside pickup is still available.

For curbside pickup or availability information, please reach out to us!

Looking down the road, we hope to get back to producing our Feathered Friends products as soon as we can. That will only happen when Washington State moves to the next phase of reopening, which could be as early as June 1st. We will provide an update when we know more.

In the meantime, stay safe and healthy.

5/4/2020 Update

We continue to hope everybody is doing well in the life of COVID. Washington State is now entering a gradual, phased re-opening of manufacturing and business. However, for the time being, our Seattle factory and retail store remain closed. We are eager to get back to making what we're best at when it is safe to do so. Always feel free to contact us at customerservice@featheredfriends.com with any questions or comments you may have. We love hearing from you!

Take care everybody!

4/2/2020 Update

We hope everybody is staying well in these trying times. With the extension of Washington State's stay-at-home order, our Seattle factory and retail store will still be closed until at least May 4th. We are still operational online, and our staff would be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. Reach out via email at customerservice@featheredfriends.com

Take care

3/25/20 Update

Our retail store and factory will be fully closed until at least April 8, but we are still available online. While the shop and factory are closed we won’t be answering phone calls, but our trusty customer service team will be answering emails daily from home and are happy to answer any questions you have. The slower pace is also letting us work on some R&D projects from home and get some great adventure stories ready for our blog, so stay tuned for good things ahead.

Be well, friends.

March 16, 2020

Dear Friends,

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread and threaten our communities, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations at our Seattle factory. As a family business our first priority is the health and wellbeing of our extended workplace family, many of whom have been with us for decades. We are encouraging our factory employees to stay home and practice social distancing during this closure, and we will be doing the same.

While we make many of our items to order and will be unable to finish these during our closure, we do have a good stock of finished essentials to keep you warm should you choose to ride out these times at home or in the wild. If we don't have what you're looking for in stock now, please consider purchasing an e-gift card and visiting us when we're back at full capacity.

Our retail store will remain open but the doors will be closed. Give us a call or email, and if we have what you're looking for you can park right outside the shop and we'll run the order out to you. We'll also still be shipping orders for in-stock items, and we’ll available on the phone and through email, so please feel free to keep reaching out. If you'd like to chat, you can reach us at (206) 292-2210 or at customerservice@featheredfriends.com

We wish we could give you a reopening date, but the situation is evolving rapidly and the reality is we just don’t know. We are exploring ways to safely get you the gear you want to get outside or hibernate at home during this time, and we will keep you updated.

We are incredibly grateful for our loyal employees and customers. You all have kept us going for almost 50 years, and we look forward to getting back to the business of keeping you warm as soon as possible.

Stay well, and take care of yourselves and each other.
