The Real Deal

I have wanted a FF Down comforter for years. I finally got one during last winter's sale. So this review is one year later, and I am very happy to report that this Down comforter is exquisitely made, SO light, and SO amazingly warm. It has that light, billowy feel, and literally just envelopes you. I love this comforter and it is worth every penny, full price. It is a down comforter that sets the standard. It's the real deal. The staff are awesome too. Thank you, my Feathered Friends:)

Disappointed

I bought the king sized comforter. As others have noted, the construction quality is good, and the comforter is light, but both my wife and I have been cold at night. We're in our 30s and in good health. Our bedroom temperature is in the low 60s at night. The comforter alone is inadequate, which is a real let down at $559.

Feathered Friends

Hi James, We're sorry to hear that! Down comforters, like sleeping bags, are certainly not universal when it comes warmth. What is just right for some may be too warm or cold for others. Feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to get a comforter that will suit you well! Feathered Friends

love it!!

I waited about 6 months before writing this review so I could truly test out my Feathered Friends down comforter. I live in the high-desert southwest, but we keep the inside of our home around 60-70 degrees at night year round, and the Bavarian Medium 700 is perfect for our needs. It is breathable, warm, and is the perfect weight so we dont need any other blankets to stay comfortable at night. At first I was considering the Baffled box construction version (In order to get more loft), but am happy with my decision for the Bavarian- it still has excellent loft, makes the bed wonderfully puffy and inviting, while also being low-maintenance because the down stays in each pocket perfectly. The stitching is excellent and the construction is durable. It's only con is it lacks duvet ties, but that can be easily remedied with some diy.

The best I can find

This comforter is such high quality. The cover is super soft and it gets very fluffy and warm. I do wish there is a super light version of this as it gets too hot for me now in CA.

Worth the price

I researched and debated on this comforter for months before finally purchasing last winter. I could not be happier with my decision and it is definitely worth the high price tag! I live in the Midwest and we were able to reduce the heat in our house at night by several degrees last winter because this comforter is so warm. Yet surprisingly, it has not felt too hot during the summer, despite no other changes to the bedding. I have had no issues with the down migrating to the corners or clumping together. As a previous reviewer stated, there are no ties in the corners to attach to a cover but I added some myself without issue. You will not regret this purchase!
