Wonderful, lightweight bag!
Switched to this sleeping bag about half way through the PCT to save weight. I’m 4’11” and can just get away with using this child-sized bag. My feet are definitely touching the foot box, but I like to think a snugger fit keeps me warmer (less surface area to warm up). So far I’ve used this bag for about 500 miles and it has been great! It is so light and comfortable. The fabric is so cozy, every night I am excited to crawl inside. It has kept me warm consistently so far.

Better than expected!
I am 4'10" so all the women's bags are still too long for me. Instead of purchasing a women's bag and tailoring it, I opted to purchase this youth bag. Not only does it still have ample room for me to move around, it is ultra light and compact. Against everyone's advice as they were concerned about the bag being too small, I went ahead and purchased the bag. It's PERFECT! And I didn't need to deal with tailoring. The bag ultra light and delivers on all the warmth needed. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was worth the wait! Oh and the color marine isn't as pictured. It looks kind of navy-ish on my phone and laptop, but it's actually a dark periwinkle-ish color. Super nice!

Finally a bag that fits!
I have purchased many sleeping bags over the years, and always struggle with huge bags and lots of dead space. I'm a 5'1" female, and even short women's bags feel ginormous. I love the loft and fill of my Petrel UL, but I'm so stoked to find a bag that truly fits and doesn't have a foot and a half of dead space at the bottom! I'm glad I was able to snag this when it came back in stock after being out a couple of years. Short gals--consider this bag! Not only will you have a cozy fit with no cold pockets, but you save money too!

Dang nice bags
I’ve been trying to get my hands on some of these for a while. Bought a pair for my daughters for backpacking. Wow, talk about craftsmanship. I own some nice quilts and bags from some nice brands. These are easily on par with the best. If you are a gear junky then your kids need way better bags than they actually need. These are those bags. Light, packable, generous draft tubes, kid proof zippers and ohh so soft ripstop. If you want some, make sure you purchase as soon as you get the “in stock” notification. They go fast!

Perfect for our outdoorsy daughter
Great for backpacking.
