A step up from our quilted Helios Pants, the Volant offers the same functionality with added warmth in a baffled design. Perfect for winter climbing in South America or Denali. Fully separating side zips allow the Volant Pants to be quickly thrown over your other layers and footwear for a boost of warmth when the temperature really dips. Made with waterproof & breathable Pertex® Shield® shell fabric and premium 900+ fill power goose down.

We recommend sizing up a full size for down pants if you plan to wear over any layers.

Great for: Ski touring, winter camping, climbing expedition

So warm and well made

Loving them, had a chilly morning outside for sunrise and was so toasty. These let me hang out outdoors more in the winter. They are well made! Love the side zips. I’m tall and thin 6’ tall 155lbs and the medium fit me great. The waist has adjustable snaps too. I have so much FF gear now :) love it all

Pleased

Happy with size, usually wear 32 waist pants, had room for long underwear and a pair of fleece pants. I wore them after snowshoeing to above tree line to watch sunset, I had to wait over and hour and a half, just in the 20’s but made waiting and a bit of a nap pleasant. Very pleased with how small the pack down. Zipper run well without snagging. Very happy, with them, plan to buy other clothing from FF in the future.
