So far so comfy
Took it once for snow camping and it was so warm and comfy - so glad I bought this and can't wait to use it on Whitney this year!

Fantastic Quality Bag
I have not yet taken this fabulous sleeping bag out for a true cold weather test. However, I am super pleased with the quality construction, the fit, and the gorgeous red color. I was a bit afraid it would be blindingly bright, but it is a rich red. The amount of down is perfect, the bag feels cozy and lofty. I can't wait to try it in the elements!

Worth It
I purchased my FF Snowbunting several years ago, with the hope that it would act as a bit of a "safety net" for some of my more challenging adventures. I have not been disappointed. As sleeping bags go, I've found the snowbunting to be comparatively indestructible, and therefore dependable. I cant count the number of times I have crawled into this feathery cocoon to escape the elements, and there is no other sleeping bag I would rather have when everything goes sideways. In terms of weight & bulk, it is evident in its design that FF has taken a bunch of steps to reduce the weight/bulk of the bag. However, there is no way around the fact that a 30 denier pertex shell is bulkier and heavier than the UL fabrics being developed by the thru-hiking community. If you're looking for something ultra-light and compact that will only ever see the inside of a tent or building, I would suggest looking elsewhere. But if you want a bag that will dependably perform, no matter the environment, I dont think you could beat this bag.

High quality, no-frills sleeping bag
This bag feels extremely high quality and I have no doubts it'll last. It felt very warm and I have no doubts I could push it into the single digits. I've had other sleeping bags wet out and freeze near the chest from condensation, but the waterproof shell of this bag gives me confidence this won't happen again. I was also surprised at how breathable it was despite the waterproof shell. A few notes worth mentioning: 1) This is a fairly minimal bag. Some other bags have extra features (thermo-gills, phone pockets, arm holes, etc.) but not this one. It's a well-made bag and nothing more. 2) The hood is fairly shallow. 3) Air doesn't escape the shell super easily during packing or unpacking. This means it takes a bit more time to compress and loft, due to the waterproof membrane.

Best Bag
Great Quality, Made in USA, This is my second bag from FF. Highly recommend this company and product.
