The Raven YF is designed to accommodate a larger build, perfect for those with broader chests who are looking for a warm yet lightweight bag. We recommend sizing all of our bags as efficiently as possible, but if you’d like some extra room to kick around at night, the Raven is the bag for you. 

Our YF line of sleeping bags feature a lightweight, 100% nylon Pertex® Quantum® shell that uses yarns with unique Y-shaped filaments to create a fabric with increased downproofing and water beading properties, even after years of use and washing.

  • Full draft collar provides an extra cushion of down around your neck to trap the heat
  • Trapezoidal footbox allows your feet to fall in a natural pose without compressing the sides

  • 3D contoured hood opens wide for warm nights and cinches tight when the temps start to drop
  • Generous draft tube prevents cold air from seeping past the zipper

NetPlus® is made from recycled fishing nets, creating a downproof yarn that also helps cut energy use during manufacturing. Compared to conventional nylon fabrics, NetPlus® reduces water use by up to 70% and overall energy consumption by up to 68%.

Pertex® YFuse® Shell Fabric

Pertex® YFuse® (YF) filaments have a uniquely engineered Y form, tightly interlocking to create highly stable yarn structures.

Whereas conventional, circular sectioned filaments lie loosely side by side, Y Fuse filaments interlock tightly in layers to create a unified yarn structure. Fabrics created using Y Fuse yarns have greatly enhanced downproof and water beading properties.

Money well spent

After 5 years or so, absolutely love this bag and take it everywhere. Comfortable sleeping on back, front and side. Lots of room to thrash about. Plenty warm with frost on the outside of the tent in fall and zipped open on the bottom in the summer still feels really comfortable. I feel this is the only sleeping bag I'll ever need.

Stellar gear

Very excited about it. Extremely light. Very cozy. Got the wide for my big shoulders. Mentors tell me it will keep me warm years to come. Very pumped for when I can afford a puffy.

No Regrets

I bought this bag two years ago and I've probably spent 20+/- nights in it while hunting in October and November. I was reluctant to purchase something so expensive, but it's made in America and the down was ethically sourced. I'm happy I bought the bag. Not only is it comfortable and durable, it also packs down to a manageable size. It gives me peace of mind the animals used to make the bags were treated as humanely as possible. I talked to customer service a few times before purchasing and they were all very helpful. I would happily buy from Feathered Friends again.

Raven 10 YF Very Warm and Comfortable

I'm 6'2 and 220 and the Raven 10 YF large fit me perfectly. Plenty of room at my chest and feet. Incredibly comfortable and warm.
